TresClean - 1st Project Meeting (28th & 29th April 2016)

Updated: Aug 15, 2018

The idea of the TresClean project emerged two years ago between Università degli Studi di Parma (UNIPR) and Centre Technologique Alphanov (ALPHANOV) and with special thanks to Consortium’s efforts and contributions, the project was successfully funded.

The TresCLEAN Project brings together both academic and industrial partners, with the to demonstrate high-throughput laser-based manufacturing applied to the production of plastic and metalcomponent parts of consumer white goods and liquid filling machines respectively through the development of a novel industrialuse of high-average power pulsed lasers in combination with high-performance optical devices and beam delivery systems.

The Project had its 1st Consortium meeting on the 28th & 29th April in Parma, Italy. The aim of this meeting was to develop the initial project processes, and begin planning for the early work begining in Work Package (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9). The Consortium also held its first Management and Technical Board meetings to determine the key actions in the project.
